Use this spreadsheet to call/email/write any of our representatives as often as possible. Not just your own state reps, reach out to those in other states. Be as loud as you can and share this. Use your voice and make some “good trouble.”
One of the problems with representatives and other states is that they do not allow you to email them if you do not live in their area.
This does not mean I will stop trying. It does mean that it can be frustrating to people who are just starting out who are trying to reach out to everyone possible only to find out that they cannot send emails to representatives in states where they do not reside.
Yeahhh. Right now I see this as a time where those in Congress should be doing what’s right for the average American and need to hear from all of us, not just their constituents. So I use an address in their state and that bypasses me through them ignoring me. On the sheet there’s a Senator’s office address listed for each state, which is what I use. And I’m just about halfway done with listing House reps state offices (over 400 of them 🤦♀️)…meaning there’s an address within their district which could be used to email them.
Is it the right thing to do. I don’t know honestly. However I strongly believe we are in a constitutional crisis period and if we don’t make a LOT of noise…I don’t know what’ll happen, but goodbye democracy
Write a letter, not an email, not a postcard. Clog up their office with physical letters. Make someone on their staff open it. For no other reason, help keep your letter carrier employed.
I saw a MAGA guy claim that we’re softening the meaning of “Hitler” by calling drumpf Hitler. That sounds reasonable if you’re thinking of full-blown Hitler. But remember, Hitler took years to go full-blown Holocaust - he and his third Reich started out silencing his critics and the media, removing anyone who kept him in check, including the courts, surrounding himself with yes men, declaring himself the retribution, practicing revenge politics, becoming more and more authoritarian until there were no other voices. It’s happening before our eyes. So, no, we’re not softening the meaning of Hitler - the comparison is a warning of what is to come if we don’t stop this!
My very real concern is people can now just pretend they are official “something” and given the US gun laws carry assault rifles as they rob anyone they like. It’s a perfect disguise.
Even Fuck Trump. Fuck Vance. Fuck them all, isn’t strong enough. For me. I continue to consider as my country’s election is tomorrow. And Trump’s Campaign Advisor provided advice to the utter right wing, Opus Dei, racist, bigoted … leader of the Opposition ☠️ It’s possibly the most important election here since 1972.
I’ve been trying to consider and choose the right words to reflect my feelings on this … I always considered my vocabulary to be half-way decent. But this administration and its descent has left me bereft.
This is all horrible, but I really can’t understand why no warrant or credentials or verbal identifications are made any more. And some wear baklavas or other masks. How do we know that these people are really government representatives? I think there are laws about how government representatives should treat the citizens or others in this country but they are clearly being ignored by ICE or whoever. This was outright theft and terrorizing these ladies. People, we need our country back.
With ICE running rampant, this opens up criminals doing similar actions prtending to be ICE, US Marshals, etc. It hasn't escaped my attention they attacked a woman with children. Probably certain she'd be unarmed and would comply.
These domestic terrorists must be investigated and brought to justice!
If this was a trial we must stop it before it spreads or no one will feel safe in their homes.
Don’t give up till you find them, label them as domestic terrorists and jail them. We cannot let bands of unidentified warrantless terrorists take root otherwise we will start to see Trumps goons growing in other places and fear will spread ! RESIST !

I think if a gun was pointed at me I would have a hard time resisting. I would take it as a VERY serious threat in the current political environment.
