I don't live in Representative Green's district, but with all the money saved from boycotting Amazon, Target, and all the rest, I can afford to send a nice donation to him!
We need more Dems with a backbone to stand up to the Fanta Fuhrer.
You're being a little too flippant about the last couple of days. Yes, we saw political theater, but political theater on the order of Dr. King's principled nonviolence, or "incivility," as Rep. Green put it. On the highest, most brightly-lit stage, Green refused to let Trump claim 100% of it. The image of an elderly black man jabbing his cane toward Trump while loudly advocating for healthcare for poor people is one that will not go away. Green threw the whole lie fest into chaos for a couple of sweet minutes. Trump couldn't handle it; heck, Biden talked over Marjorie Greene and Boebert better than that. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Rep. Green took his censure like a man and said he'd do it again. I'm ashamed of the ten Democrats who voted with the GOP.
I think Representative Green embraced this philosophy with his emphatic comments and would have loved to to have seen more Democrats show more gumption than wearing pink and waving paddles. Well played Rep Green, well played!
Democrats need to be by Al Greene’s side! Republicans did it to Biden. Republicans need to sit down and say nothing that includes Johnson! Republican hypocrisy makes me sick!
They should bring a symbolic article of censure against MTG and LB! Publicly counter with the same thing republicans are doing now, if for no other reason than to publicly humiliate the republicans! Using our voices, it's time to flood the republicans with phone messages against what they're doing and remind them, we'll see you at the ballot box!
And calling out the Democrats that joined the Republicans as well. This was not some foreign policy vote! This was a vote against one of their own members! And under the circumstances that our democracy, our government is under attack by the very fascists they joined with is unforgivable! Tell those Democrats they don't deserve to have a vote in the mid-terms!
Perhaps one last call, a call of support for Al Green from across the country to let him know, WE all have his back!
If only there were some way to derail the (Republican toady) business of Congress w/o giving them distractions from the ongoing fascism. Some sort of procedural imperative, like, say, an impeachment.

Fanta Fuhrer is the best one yet! (and I shall start using it immediately!)
Fanta Fuhrer! Haven’t heard that one - well played.
Dear Closer,

Right on, Solange! Well said.
^ this.
“Make good trouble!”

As Colbert said, Rep. Green had a weapon more powerful than his cane - a spine.
I think they should have quietly walked out, One by one, every time the🍊🤡 lied. The chamber would have been empty in 10 minutes.
More like 2 minutes.
Amen

Let's face it: The United States, like a Trump tariff, has been suspended. Hopefully it's temporary.
I read where several of his own party censured him. True?
And I cannot believe that a handful of Democrats voted to censure. They should hide their heads in shame.
