I lived in the Sonoran Desert for 35 years. I lived amidst the magnificent Saguaros, the Javelina, bobcats, buzzworms, scorpions, shall I go on? I loved the desert but hated the heat. I no longer live in the desert, but I miss it every single day - not the heat - just the desert. I have owned a park pass for many years. I would not - NOT - buy a pass today with the maga monster's face on it.
Unfortunately the indigenous peoples, ie Native Americans, has been treated very poorly by the US. They’ve been abused, forced onto reservations where the land is unsuitable and life is virtually unsustainable. Their ancestral lands have been desecrated, they’ve been stripped of their historical cultural identity and sacred ceremonies.
But they are wise, humble, gentle people who have always understood their role as caretakers of the earth. They have much to teach us.
I’d like to see the Donald Trump name on a lot of things such as common toxic waste dumps, cesspools and toilets with the likeness of him in the bowl so that everybody having a bowel movement can I have the pleasure of dropping up deuce on Donald’s face.
Let’s hope that the corporate criminals who run the world don’t do much more damage to our beautiful parks.
The type of people who become National Park Rangers are more often than not, not the type of people who care at all if you've cut x's through the eyes of that guy who calls himself the president. Hayduke Lives!
He really wants to have his image or name on everything, probably only way to make himself believe he's the greatest president the USA ever had. Hope they will remove them from everything once he is gone and put his image and name where they belong...the rubbish dump!
I’ve been living in and out of Arizona since the 1980’s, primarily in Sedona. It’s a spectacular area of this country thats been thriving with a powerful life force, and an inherent ability to adapt, long before time began.
In fact, “The Sonoran Desert is a relatively young ecosystem, with its characteristic plants and animals developing roughly 8 million years ago during the late Miocene, though it has expanded and contracted over time. Its most modern form, covering the area seen today in Arizona and California, appeared only 9,000 years ago, with modern plant/animal communities settling in about 4,500 years.”
Hm. So I wonder how long it will take djt to rebrand the Sonoran desert, the Saguaros, the Grand Canyon, the Navajo Nation…
I was dismayed to find that face on my annual pass. I asked the SNP Rangers if the pass is still valid if I redact his face with a Sharpie...they said the pass belongs to me, technically it is not to be altered but they didn't think any Park Ranger would deny its use.

Native Americans have also survived out there for A LONG TIME. Even during the civil war.

So glad I got my senior pass years ago!
I JUST said the exact same thing
Same here. Got mine when it was still $20, right before the price went up. I not only saved money; my pass is Trump-free.

SO glad I got my Senior Pass a few years ago, I wouldn't want that ugly card anywhere near me
Unfortunately he will sell off the parks to his buddies & cut down millions of acres of forests.

Thank you. What a hideous face to have anywhere. It's a felon face
