It's a good article. And it sounds like it's all the evidence the government needs to deport them or worse. Give them legal justice. A trial. Presentation of evidence. A decision by a judge. That is what is missing under the current policies.

I grew up in communism. My uncle was a political prisoner, hence my family and anyone related to him were considered with a black spot in their biography, which is the same as "guilty by association" term used in this article. Not sure if anyone knows, but people have minds of their own even if they are in your own nuclear or extended family. I feel for this man. I hope the hell he's in now ends soon. 🙏

The ICE folks are in some sort of trance or fearful mindset. If we hold our democracy together, some day they will be horrified at what they did for a pay check.

Regardless of party, color, culture or education, it seems that the normal american just wants to be left alone to live life, fingers on the Easy button, go out to dinner and go home to watch TV. However, now is the time to pay attention because the things happening to people, our government agencies, and the changes to laws that have protected us are being disappeared. We should be afraid, very afraid.

Impeach! Impeach!

Impeach the filthy cunt!!

Surely there are multiple grounds to initiate proceedings.

Surely there are enough brave Republicans who retain some sense of decency.

There is no time to wait!

No one is safe!

Everything is at stake.

Sad days for America. Trump taking lessons from Putin. Will be be poisoned in USA prison like so many other Russian dissidents. Everything is possible in the new fascist trump fantasy world. Ps the trump fellow is mad. Republicans and democrats alike. Order an involuntary psychiatric admission . He is either psychotic or a borderline personality with psychotic features.

I think it's a proof that the guys from ICE knows that what they are doing is wrong, is they're wearing face masks. If they thought they were doing something legal, they wouldn't need face masks.

Nunya's a transplanted MAGAt troll from Huffpost - it's always the same hate there, too. Personally, I'm always ready to state plainly that I fully DESPISE Hamas - but my passion in opposition to them is matched by the loathing I have for fascist, genocidal Israel and the IDF - who I feel share equally with Hamas their blood lust and war crimes tally. That being said - EVERYONE in the USA is guaranteed free speech - or at least used to be. If you support Hamas - you should be free to say so. Have yet to hear a convincing argument otherwise...

Nunya advocates on behalf of Israel. I’m not a troll, just a person with longstanding insight into this area. It is important, especially if you’re posting, to look into things more deeply - yourself and to not simply repeat what others post on social media. There is more to this particular person’s background. Everyone should not be painted with the same brush, whether a writer on substack or someone who has been deported. Here’s a brief clip from an article from CAMERA about Badar Khan Suri. CAMERA has been around for a long time, analyzing and reporting on distortions in the mainstream media. Here’s what they have to say (and there’s nothing wrong with reading other people’s comments without dismissing them, labeling them, or making ridiculous accusations). BTW, Bob, the words “MAGA” and “Trump” are not allowed to be spoken in my home.

(March 21, 2025 / JNS)

The Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting and Analysis slammed Politico for neglecting to mention in a March 19 article that a Georgetown University professor, whom the Trump administration is seeking to deport, has ties to the Hamas terror organization.

“In their rush to frame this as a story about political persecution, Politico completely ignored the facts,” stated David Litman, a senior analyst at CAMERA who probed the matter.

CAMERA research “left no doubt” that Badar Khan Suri, a fellow at the university’s Alwaleed Center for Christian and Muslim Understanding, and his wife Mapheze Ahmad Yousef Saleh, a Georgetown graduate student, have ties to Hamas, per Litman.

“She herself admitted her role in Hamas in her own articles,” Litman wrote. “This isn’t merely a question of political views. It’s about providing material support to a terrorist organization that has American blood on its hands. Saleh believes that ‘America is the plague.’ Those are her words.”

The Politico article, titled “Trump is seeking to deport another academic who is legally in the country, the lawsuit says,” depicted the couple as victims of political persecution.

In a Feb. 13 National Review article, Litman noted that Saleh’s father was a senior Hamas official and that she has worked directly for Hamas, celebrated the Oct. 7 terror attacks and mocked the hostages kidnapped to the Gaza Strip.

Litman’s article on the CAMERA website includes a photo from the couple’s wedding, in which they hold a photograph of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat kissing the head of Hamas founder Ahmed Yassin.

“Politico omitted these details and actively misled their readers,” Litman stated. “They allowed Suri’s lawyer to claim he was being punished because of his wife’s ‘suspected views.’ But these aren’t ‘suspected’ views. Saleh and Suri’s support for Hamas and their ties to its leadership are well-documented and public.”

The Politico article further claimed that Suri and Saleh were being targeted for their “support for Palestinian rights,” a characterization CAMERA has denounced as false and misleading.

“Glorifying Hamas’s slaughter of civilians or celebrating the abduction of innocent people is not ‘supporting Palestinian rights,’” Litman stated. “It’s endorsing terrorism. Politico’s conflation of the two is disgraceful and dangerous.”

“When mainstream media platforms like Politico act as PR agents for extremists, they undermine the public’s trust and fuel misinformation,” Litman added.

So if/when the tables turn and ‘they’ go after pro-Israeli people, you will be happy to be ripped from your home for your words here and taken to another state and locked up?

No one said that. It’s almost like you are completely unable to read another’s point of view without inventing a weird “so if…” attack.
