I still find it pretty spectacular that activists decided the lesser of two evils was absolutely something we could not work with and change so they decided to run full on into actions that helped this Administration take power. Not voting? Awesome. Why is it so hard to bring the Protest Vibe against velvet evil? We would have a better chance of success. Significantly poorer countries than America have no problem affording universal healthcare. America doesn't have universal healthcare because healthcare is a mighty industry there, and that mighty industry lobbies the fuck out of politicians on both sides of the line in Washington and every state capitol to boot. And since American politicians don't have the moral courage to ban all that lovely, addictive money from campaigns, there's no chance of getting the "healthcare" industry out of American politics. So America will continue to have the lowest life expectancy for the most insanely inflated price in the Western world for the foreseeable future. $500 for a generic aspirin, folks.
