I agree, I LOVE the Olympics, I always have, but this one is not going to be safe. The maladministration has said that no one will bother the atheletes, their team staffs, or their families who come—but what about all the other nationals who come to cheer their teams on? It wouldn't surprise me if, as stated, something with certain country's visas "glitches" or "goes wrong" somehow, just to give the ICE bastards an excuse to exceed their allotted deportation goals for the week.

And do boycott the 2028 Olympics not just because of what’s going on in the US, but also because of the IOC, which is essentially a mafia. Just the process of selection to host the games is in reverse, as it should be the IOC convincing cities to host their event—and also contributing financially to it—and not the other way around.
It ought to be moved to a safer country.

Olympics and the World Cup bring a diverse group of people. I am not sure many countries can come due to restrictions put on by the administration.
