Thank you for telling this story to the wider world. The US is becoming a very unattractive place. As for the so-called Christians who support Trump, this harassing behaviour bears no resemblance to the impoverished Jesus who spent his life living with and supporting the sick, the poor and the dispossessed. He would turn over the gold-leafed tables of Trump's greedy, sycophantic elite bros.

Living in the Denver area, I am familiar with Jeanette’s story and activism, as well as the church that gave her sanctuary. Thank you for sharing to a larger audience. Free her.

More terrible news from a terrible, vicious administration. Shame on them and the Congress GOP who stay silent.

Horrific! Terrible! The list of execrable adjectives to describe the debasing cruelty of this regime is limitless.

"Everybody complains about the weather but nobody does anything about it." That saying used to be funny, because it was futile to complain about something totally out of our control. Actually, we now could do something about weather, i.e. climate change, if it weren't labelled a stinkin' hoax. Same with Jeanette Vizguerra. If we treat her case and millions of other cases like hers as things that are beyond our control, soon we will all be Jeanette.

In hindsight, what should/could Germans have done about their version of Trump and the Republican Maga Party before it was really too late. Are we too late now?
