Wow. Just … blinking …. wow.

Pam Bondi is an enabler and traitor. A traitor to women. A traitor to the law. A traitor to the oaths that she took when sworn into the legal system and the position of A.G. She is a traitor to this country and all its citizens — except those who want to profit off power and grift — and destroy it. She should be in jail with the rest of them.

She's all those things - and a whore besides. She sold herself completely and utterly for a check - a check from the TRAITURD for $25,000. In the long run, though, all she gained was a spot in our nation's history for being a grotesquely unqualified lowlife's lowlife. No one escapes the ravages of what her kind of selling out does to the flesh and soul - she already looks like hell on two legs - and it's only downhill from here...

I spent 17 years of my life with two different sex workers. It's a job like any other - one that can be done with decency, integrity, & in maximum safety, or...not. I've known very few sex workers who didn't do their job safely and honestly. And I've known a lot of sex workers.

Please, don't insult whores by comparing them to that amoral shitpile!

Meliannos's avatar

In a very reactionary way, I dislike it when a man refers to any woman as a “whore.”

How many times have you called men that?? MEN who have sold everything to trump & his minions? Gay men, religious men, self-righteous men, elected representatives of their cities, counties, states & the nation?? Men who’ve sold their honor, their dignity, betrayed their oaths of office, their place on the right side of history . . . ??

Many “whores” are otherwise honest, courageous & reliable workers. They work long hours, under dangerous conditions, in a profession that wouldn’t exist except for the perfidy & selfish impulses of men.

These women have few options. They’re overwhelmingly poor — but they support families, children, disabled/addicted/whatever parents & partners. Or they just turn to sex work to keep a roof over their heads & to have food.

Bondi is far worse than a whore. She’s a cynical, cruel, opportunist who cares nothing for disadvantaged people & who has no empathy for those who cannot benefit her directly. Like ALL of trump’s enablers, she’s a bottom-feeder who cares for no one & nothing but herself.

Please, sir, have some caution when tossing around stereotypical slurs.

Ditto the inevitable, misogynistic comment on the woman’s looks.(Another measure I dare say you rarely apply to men.)

In my books, there are many, many things *worse* than being someone who exchanges sex for money — like being a racist, hate-filled (but-oh-so-Christian) MAGA voter or a rich Republican member of Congress or SCOTUS who supports the wholesale, unconstitutional destruction of everything the US once stood for.

Both my exes - and a lot of other sex workers I've known - use the term "sex worker" to describe their profession when discussing it with people who aren't familiar with the ins and outs of the work. But when they're talking amongst themselves, or with people they know respect the work (because doing it well takes a skill set that deserves enormous respect and god knows I don't possess it!) every derogatory word in the thesaurus comes out, often with much hilarity. I'll be a happy human when the day comes that "whore", "hooker" and so on have been so thoroughly reclaimed that when some small-souled, small-minded turd that no sane sex worker would take on as a client (due to the potential rapist/serial killer vibes) whips out one of those terms as an insult, all they get is a puzzled glance and a, "And your point is...?"

Expand full comment
Bob Churchill's avatar

You are mistaken that I don’t judge men every bit as harshly as I do women and with the same language - for either selling (prostituting) themselves - one can whore themselves without sex being the commodity being exchanged - integrity is often what is sold - and selling one’s essence winds up leaving a change in one’s appearance for the worse whether one is male or female - many examples spring to mind immediately. So - your point is taken, but unless you can supply a better descriptor, I’m sticking with whore…

I was the victim of domestic violence in the late 70’s. There was absolutely NO WHERE to go. I couldn’t even go to the police in Boulder, Colorado. They had already demonstrated to me that they were pretty much cheerleaders for despicable behavior in men. A young male crashed into the rear of my car while I was on the Boulder turnpike. He simply took aim at my car and floored his car. By the time he hit, it bent the frame of my Volvo and sheared the bolts that attached the driver’s seat to the floor. In pursuing the matter, the Boulder police said, “boys will be boys”. This seems to sum up Frau Bondi’s DOJ.

You just stated what I’ve been saying for a long time. America has such possibilities for the people, however, we’ve had a party that has been against everything that benefits the people. Instead they are only concerned about lining their own pockets & staying in power all have broken their oath of office.

We’ve also seen how our Constitution does not have the teeth necessary to protect the people against the level of corruption that is currently running rampant.

Bottom line, the legislative, the executive & judicial branches of our government have been completely compromised & all have broken their oath to the people! And yet they are allowed to stay in office! If this was a private enterprise they’d all be FIRED!

How the hell did we get there!? How in the hell was this allowed to happen?

It seems we are totally frozen unable to fight the president, vice president and his whole corrupted administration. Plus the little nymph he’s got running wild shutting down all departments that benefit the people & especially those that are investigating HIS businesses. And he’s NOTHING, not an elected member or never went through a background check! If you work for MacDonalds you have to go through a background check! He’s threatening to take away SS & Medicare from the people who have paid into the program all their lives! WTF is going in? Why are we paying salaries to people who aren’t doing their jobs!? Because they were elected? Well that hasn’t really been working for us, has it?

We are in a CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS & yet, NOTHING & I mean NOTHING is being done to stop the vile, evil, cruel & total criminal actions of this lower than life dictator! Why is that? Are we that helpless? If so, our Constitution & our great ‘Democracy’ is not so great if it fails the people, correct?

We have absolutely no way of bringing SCOTUS in line or are able to remove the rotten apples in our court. SCOTUS is totally out of control & is in cahoots w/the Convicted Felon to bring down our country. They are following the Project 2025 footprint instead of the law! They have broken their oath of office and yet, they still sit up there in their cushy chairs making decisions that affect OUR lives! WTF!?

AS A NATION WE ARE A F*CKING MESS!

AS A PEOPLE WE ARE GETTING F*CKED BY OUR OWN ELECTED OFFICIALS.

a quick solution is to simply eliminate known abusers.

The victim must have siblings, friends, parents, relatives who should, indeed must- obtain justice. How can you call yourself a man or a moral being when your sisters, mothers, and daughters are being raped or beaten with impunity?

Dont call the cops. Call your friends and make sure they hide the bodies.
