It's about time these perpetrators of violence and intimidation get charged with assault. The same type of "security firm" is contracted by ICE to snatch people off the street, and wreak vandalism to get at victims. That's why these guys wear no identifying uniform. They are the SS troops used by our local, state, and federal government in the US to oppress and instill fear into people. This is fascism. It must be stopped by mass opposition to these tactics.

I read this from you already, and had re-stacked it. This is exactly what is happening. Thank you for your reply and info. Others will read it too.

The people there should have swarmed them. Private citizens cannot simply be allowed to take matters in their own hands like this.

People sitting idly by are complicit in any of these forums.

I’ve been sitting with this a bit. I feel their survival instinct of ‘freeze’ comes into play. We have to actively be prepared to override our survival instinct when we see this happen again. We also have to be ready to be the first to move in a group of people, which also has to override our natural instincts. I’m actually practicing, so I can stand up.

It’s a lesson we are all learning, silence is complicity. But, who would think six odd men would manhandle a woman at a public gathering? We know now … no badge, turn on all the phones and follow along.

I agree with you. As these horrific attacks continue to happen and they are expected to, we will need to have courage, even in our fear. This silencing may become normal but we must not let it become normalized.

Most people, especially men these days have no courage. Cowards. The only people I heard yelling to Stop because you’re hurting her were women.! Tells it all! I say, every woman carries on her body a can of bear mace and if you find yourself in that situation when no one is even gonna help, you mace the fuck out of them and get out.

If they thought this would prevent others from speaking out and asking uncomfortable questions of "conservatives", THEY ARE WRONG! Maybe in Coeur D'Alene, but not elsewhere.

People have to stop being afraid of the bullies. I'm 76, & if I go to jail for what I know is right, then I'll go to jail. And then I'll sue every. single. one. of. them.

Good. Now do those fake ICE agents running around with masks and no warrants, badges, or IDs.

I've seen the videos and what horrifies me is the audience just sat there. I think one or two people got out of their seats so the thugs could get to Teresa Borrenpohl. No one knew who these men were and they just let them drag her out of the building. On the video I believe a few women asked who the men were.

This is something I need to keep close track of-- If (and I hope, when) these men are sentenced in a law-court, I'll have some hope that there's still some justice somewhere in the country...

This was disgusting behaviour towards a citizen who has a right to free speech.

MTG town hall - Acworth -only for her supporters, of course - police brutality was horrific.

10 police officers onto one man at a time. They threw their victims to the ground for speaking and then tasered them repeatedly.

Police need to remember who pays their wages - and it's not these wealthy politicians who are the actual criminals, who steal from the American people. We still have free speech. I hope the men tasered sue them all.

These guys are no different than all the fake ICE agents traitor in chief has on the payroll.

The dudes with no paperwork or identification kidnapping men, women, & children off the street, from their cars, from schools.

Rise up. It’s up to us to stop this madness.

I think we'll begin see more action as we ho forward. We've spent our lives living in a free country (at least if you're white--let'sbe honest). We are waking up to the changes and to the fact the party of Trump tends to use criminals and white nationalist contractors to control us.

What about the sheriff? Is he getting indicted? He should lose is job once and for all and go to jail for a complete violation of democracy in an authoritative role. He is representing the law!

Agreed. The sheriff should be charged too - he also manhandled her AND gave the orders. He only called in his ‘deputies’ after he was unable to get her to leave physically by himself.

But will they be convicted? One of the ‘deputies’ said he thinks it will be ‘remedied’, instead - meaning acquittal…

It seems the sheriff is also on some type of disability from California. It was reported shortly after the incident happened. I also know the victim has/had a go fund me to help with her legal fees to sue for civil rights violations. What happened to her was beyond terrible.

They are going to manufacture general lawlessness in an angry and economically desperate citizenry over time as a byproduct of this dystopia. And what will come with that is an increase in crime and dishonorable albeit non-criminal conduct across the board.

Because when angry formerly free people see that all of the authorities of a system are simply wholly exempt from the law, they say, “If no law applies to them, then I say no law applies to me either. The way this place works is that might makes right as long as you can get away with it.”

And then a significant percentage of them start calculating their own odds of committing crime successfully and evading punishment and of doing various illegitimate things and getting away with them.

Environments like that deeply harm the willingness of citizens to trust each other, for good reason. And that in turn hurts their ability to cooperate to achieve any goal, including restoring a country.

It just becomes an environment of instability along a continuum, from unpredictability and inability to plan accordingly, on up to periodic or constant utter chaos.

And maintaining the ability to simply function ends up consuming all of one’s time and leaves nothing left for anything above that. The entirety of life becomes so difficult and inefficient that it keeps everything broken. That’s one of many things to fear about all of this we’re seeing.
