The USA has three supposedly co-equal branches of government - but boiled down, the judicial branch is the ring that rules them all. This is why the Christo-fascists at the Heritage Foundation and Federalist Society started corrupting the judiciary and packing it with anti-democratic judges and justices first and patiently, over many years - if you build and own the backstop, the ball can't slip out of your control. These TRAITORS and subversives are EVIL - but they aren't stupid. Now - by their design - we find ourselves in the position of not being able to depend on the courts to undo the depredations of the admitted Project 2025 COUP in progress ("bloodless - if the left will have it") - authored by the SAME people who've corrupted our Supreme court. We must instead defeat the coup AND the corrupted courts - a tall order to be sure. What we have on our side that they can't do anything about is that many generations of Americans have lived as free people in a free country - a long-established tradition - which is not the case in most authoritarian takeovers - and there are WAAAAAAAAY more of us who do NOT want to live in a post Project 2025 world than those who do. This gives me hope for our ultimate victory - I hope it does you as well...

Exactly. They also didn't have a stacked court or millions of cult members who believe everything that oozes out of trump's mouth. They didn't have Elno crippling the very foundations of their federal government or completely incompetent bootlickers heading up every government agency. They probably didn't have entire national "news" networks repeating lie after lie from the administration—and I say "probably" because I don't know what South Korean news media is like but they didn't have Reagan around 40 years ago to kill the Fairness Doctrine. In our country, according the the Constitution, it is the legislative branch that removes a sitting president through impeachment. We all know that! Unless something drastic happens, say Mike Johnson gets struck by lightning and it fries the christo-fascist part of his brain, those proceedings won't happen. He's riding high and rubbing his little Smeagol hands together he's so mad with power. It will take sustained and continued marching, striking and agitating then, maybe We the People will be that bolt of electric energy that sets the House alight! Let's do it!
