You named it! The common denominator ... Republicans. Rude, racketeers for the rich. I will never vote for anyone with an R next to their name. That would be revolting!

Even No Fat Chicks Pete complained about “losing” three F-118 fighter jets this year. Two slid off an aircraft carrier; the other disappeared during the Signal Chat flap over the Houthis. A half-century ago, as a student I was screamed at for using my food stamps to buy a quarter-pound of butter. “I don‘t think my breakfast toast will lose the war in Vietnam,” I said politely, and was upbraided again.

I hope in some small corner of his miserable existence John Roberts remembers daily that he was instrumental in causing the implosion of our country.

And there it is again; someone observes and calls out the hypocrisy and cruelty and someone else calls ‘foul’ because it doesn’t meet their ethical standards of reporting. No matter where or how this article was sourced the point remains, the monied class is killing us in the name of profit and if we don’t fight back we will be chained to this reality

'if history teaches us anything, it’s that the architects of cruelty never stop on their own. They have to be stopped — dragged from the banquet table of power and forced to see what they’ve done. Because the common denominator isn’t just bad policy. It’s the idea that suffering is necessary, that empathy is weakness, and that the hungry deserve to starve.'

There's a word for this: fascism.

It's not enough to say the fascist regime is horrible.

It is imperative to recognize that the fascist figurehead is a prop, a totem for the fascist crowd- each and every rank and file GOP voter- without whom the regime would not exist.

The figurehead and the regime are instruments of, and arise from within, the fascist crowd.

The grotesque bigotry, the brutality, the depravity on display is precisely what 75 million voted for, because that's what they wanted. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying.
