I was there when 9/11 happened. He came out on the 3rd day after the hit. Bush, Cheney, him … all hiding. The only person that was out there giving orders and controlling things were the then senator Hillary Clinton.

Well, well. That is interesting to know. She never mentioned that I don’t think, in the 2016 campaign, not that I ever heard, maybe she should have? Maybe not. It might not look good drawing that kind of attention to herself. History is filled with little things like that that might have made a difference.

But 9/11 … true story. I was in queens New York, trying to get home to New Jersey. Until I went back home I had no idea what happened. When I asked people they told me weird stories like … everything is getting bombed and look for cover to aliens are attacking us 😂 even though I laugh now it was not at that time lol

She 💯 should have. She is a woman and she never targeted that tragedy to gain herself votes like Giuliani did.

The 2016 campaign was a mess. When Trump was going crazy and the social media was filled with misinformation spreading bots … we did not know about this. This is the first time for us.

But also when you look carefully she did not lose because of MAGA. We lost because of the Bernie or busters who refused to vote. People didn’t pay that much attention to them. Registered democrats voted at their lowest numbers that round. Because no one thought Trump would win … they thought Hilary would win but they decided to stay out of the election 🤷🏻‍♀️

We thought she would win too. We never thought for a moment that anyone with half a brain would vote for him. I’m Australian btw. We watched the elections nervously as if our lives depended on you all doing the right thing! The 2024 election was as much a heart stopper for us as for you. People don’t realise how allies are affected by US policy. Australia has been tied to USA for so long culturally and politically I guess, but there’s now a growing voice to cut ties.

I’m a PhD too - English.

Yet another brilliant example-everything Trump touched turns to crap-in Guiliani’s case well it is well deserved. I also had a moment of pity hearing about his accident then, of course I read the statement his office put out versus the sheriff’s department and I thought even at this he’s still lying.

Brilliant, thank you for the recap. After reading dubiously about the DV refugee he aided, I assumed that if the woman existed, Rudy had groped her (he’d chanted to an assistant, “Your tits are mine”).

Why the hell can't this also be trump's fate, doomed to decay, opprobrium, waste and ruin of his execrable character. No, he gets to live in gilded glory. We can only hope karma works in mysterious ways.

It's because everything Trump touches turns to shit. Perhaps he doesn't touch himself enough...🤔

People were so stunned and afraid after the attacks that they tended to look anywhere and everywhere for comfort and guidance. I didn’t know much about Giuliani at the time except for the fact that he was a law and order prosecutor who tended to see the world in shades of black and white. But I was baffled at the time by all the accolades he got. I mean what did he really do that mattered? There was brief grandstanding and performance. But I didn’t see him as an inspiring leader back then. I saw a lot of smoke and mirrors. The trajectory of his career since 9/11 is an objective testament to that.

The 1980s Commission Case took out the Gambino, Genovese, Lucchese, Colombo, and Bonanno families in one RICO move. Decades of Cosa Nostra dominance collapsed in a hot minute. Who gave Guiliani the ammunition, did someone bribe or bankroll???

The Russians??? They moved into NY immediately after the case and set up shop...Semion Mogilevich quietly pushing billions through Western banks. Alimzhan Tokhtakhounov running gambling and laundering operations out of Trump Tower.... These players also connected to Epstein and blackmail and Putins Kompormat....

Rudy's last act as mayor in late December 2001 was to cancel the welfare-to-work program for single mothers. A small group of people were protesting this act in front of city hall, and Rudy had his police commissioner put riflemen on the roof.

As for 9/11, it was clearly an inside job. The fire department radio had a fireman saying, "We got some small fires. We can knock 'em down with two lines". Over 2,000 people murdered, and the NYPD didnt do any investigation. Neither did the CIA or the FBI
