URGENT– NOW – THIS DAY

Dear News Outlet:

Please disseminate as quickly as you can. I have just sent this message to Republican House Reps and strongly urge others to do the same – immediately, and in fact to as many Reps as possible. The bill, HR-1, is back on the House Floor now – at least one Rep confessed that he had signed the bill WITHOUT READING IT in the first go-round. This is outrageous and the very nadir of irresponsible representation. Tomorrow is too late. (please see attached pdf, the status of which is unclear at the moment, but absolutely devastating and terrifying if in fact still in play) Contact spreadsheet linked below.

July 2, 2025

To House Representative (NAME),

Please join your fellow Republicans, Senators Paul (KY), Tillis (NC), and Collins (ME), in voting NO on HR-1. You see, it can be done.

I urge you to give deep, serious consideration to the multiple devastating provisions in this bill – many of which would undo decades of improvements for a better life for the majority of our states citizens as well as Americans nationwide.

The massive increase to the federal deficit would be catastrophic. Cuts and restrictions to Medicaid and Medicare would hurt so many vulnerable people who are in dire need – this is unconscionable. Please, please, stop and seriously reassess what these changes will do to our state and country. The Consumer Protection Bureau does just this: protects us – cuts to it are incomprehensible – we need more protection as consumers, not less, in a culture with ever increasing corporate power and predatory practices. These are merely three of the many that I strongly believe to be dangerous and damaging moves.

As your constituent, I urge, beg, you to VOTE NO on HR-1.

Please, for the good of our great state, and America as a whole.

Urgently,

(YOUR NAME)

That Rand was dis-invited to the WH picnic just last week means that Rand knows. He knows. And he's hard pressed whether to fear the rich @$$holes on one side, or the cult members back home on the other. Just how expensive is the lining of your pocket, Mr. Paul? Is it your life? Or is it all of ours? (Sorry, no compassion for Rand Paul; he is a classic High-Hat cosplaying as a man of the masses.)
