Reading this and seeing this, my life is forever changed. The perpetrators of this heinous cruelty must pay a price for their crimes against humanity. Tis to weep, deeply.

I sobbed uncontrollably as I read this. As a mother and a grandmother, as a human being, what is described here is way beyond any words I can string together to explain how I feel. Cindy, your words " to weep, deeply" come pretty close.

Patricia, I feel like I've met a fellow traveller. There is plenty of blame to go around for this tragedy at the hands of past and current administrations, all of which is tied to the crude politics of electability. Military support to Israel must stop immediately and the monies transferred to sending food and medical supplies to Gazans who are dying by the hour. America, the land of the free, cannot be party to this atrocity, to genocide. I'm not naive with regard to the evils perpetrated on Jews throughout history and to this day. I'm sure many will be angry at my views. But I'm also sure that today, in this Century, unless we put centuries old grievances behind and find a solution to coexist, we will have lost the right to be called a civilization.

The Gaza situation is abhorrent. These people need help, serious medical, nutritional and psychological help now. And yet they’re denied the very basics. May karma visit their torturers soon.

Netanyahu is a war criminal perpetrating genocide. Anyone supporting him is complicit. You have outlined the kind of gut-wrenching reality everyone needs to see and know about. I'll do my small best to make that happen.

Every time I read about this horror I lose my confidence in the human race. How can anyone allow this to happen. Please those who are in authority stop Netanyahu and those responsible.

Frankly, between Netanyahu and Trump there is little we can do. Both of the terrible leaders are disgusting and evil!

While the whole world is watching! Countries selling and donating military equipment to Israel in the billions…. Making money out of the cruelty of the Netanyahu regime…. I can’t find the words to express how ashamed I am to be a human being right now, an old lady, powerless and fighting the urge to hate because hate leads to exactly what we’re watching….

Hi. People will be aware of numerous charities that are trying to help.

I'd like to suggest NIF because its Jewish connections appear to allow it to be more effective on the ground. It's usually strategic and trying to bring people together rather than fundraising. But it is presently breaking its rule of not fundraising, because the situation in Gaza is so dire.

https://www.nif.org.au/donate_to_support_gaza

One of the three organisations that NIF is fundraising for is World Central Kitchen. WCK "paused its activities in April 2024 when seven of its staff were killed by the IDF (an act for which IDF leaders have apologised). Until that point it was providing more than 60% of all NGO food aid reaching Gazans.

WCK has now resumed food distribution within Gaza, but they are reporting significant difficulty transporting aid across the border. They are intermittently able to receive aid, although this situation changes hour by hour. In the meantime, they are working tirelessly to continue to support Palestinian families by purifying and distributing critically needed potable water where possible."

Thank you for posting the photos. Text does not relay the torture men, women and children are suffering. Withholding basic necessities of life is a crime. Every home becomes Auschwitz. War is a billionaires business torturing and killing innocent victims. Humans are the most dangerous animal on earth.

Let’s not forget the main force inhibiting, if not steeling/ diverting food from the starving Palestinians— Hamas who uses the innocent as human shields, which has plagued them for many years and by doing so keeps them subservient to poverty and dependent upon them. Indeed a despicable situation that must be completely dissected to get to the bottom of and then resolved.

The main force inhibiting food being delivered to the starving is Netanyahu, Bruce. Hamas are terrorists and not above using the innocents as human shields, but to starve to death thousands of those innocents in order to force out a handful of those remaining terrorists is unforgivable. How many members of Hamas remain alive in the utter devastation of Gaza do you think? Are they going to stay in their tunnels to starve? Are they going to keep the remaining hostages alive by sharing precious food? There is no food being delivered to steal from the starving. Most of the surviving Hamas have probably fled to friendly adjacent countries where there is food, water and space to make plans for their next heinous onslaught - and no, we do not forget what they did to innocent Israelis either. This inhumane starvation of Palestinians is a war crime. Netanyahu is a war criminal and this is not helping the cause of innocent Israelis to live in peace. It is impossible to read, to see and hear of this cruelty to our fellow human beings and be diverted with the “…but Hamas…” argument.

That's not what Israelis are saying in the streets of Tel Aviv-

https://x.com/BtSIsrael/status/1947701332313575811

"Hundreds of Israelis are now marching in the center of Tel Aviv against the starvation of Gaza at the hands of the Israeli government. Some are holding sacks of flour."

(From "Breaking the Silence", an Israeli veterans organisation.)
