Out there somewhere, I'm hoping there's a Joseph Welch, the attorney who brought down Senator Joe McCarthy during the infamous McCarthy hearings. "Until this moment, Senator, I think I never really gauged your cruelty and recklessness... You have done enough. Have you no sense of decency"

I've thought that same thing, but the difference is now, no, there is no sense of decency. And they. don't. care.

McCarthy was brought down with that because people DID have decency. If people had decency now, the "grab 'em" video 9 years ago this month would have been the end of it. But no. No decency. Only hate.

Hate and fear. Fear of DT and his cultists, his base, his handlers. Hate of anyone or anything different. Fear of repercussions. Just a cycle of fear, hate, ignorance, willful ignorance.

MAGA thinks decency is weakness.

It's important, though, to remind our nutty MAGA cultist family and friends that backing Trump *no matter what* is un-American. Make them admit that the Constitution, the flag, and the country itself is bigger than this badly flawed man.

It's a known fact that he is demented, delusional. My main issue is with the people who know it and are fully aware of it, yet go along with any of his half-baked (I hate to use the term) ideas.

Tomorrow will be Rage Against the Regime rallies around the country. Many are connected with 50501 and others planned by a variety of other local organizations. There is much collaboration. And today's news is awful, including this firing. Also the Smithsonian bending the knee to soon pull reference fromTrump impeachments from from an exhibit on impeachments.

In NC there will be a variety of events. The one in Raleigh will bring together all the Triangle for the first time this year. There will be a large human chain for a large area whose center will be the 1841 NC Capitol. Another in Fayetteville will be a mostly silent rally around the main stadium there. Also there will be one in Greenville with a focus on the 35th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

And so forth...

This is so very wrong, like most of his actions. We need our leaders to step up and be real leaders. Seize control from this orange maniac while we still have a country.

Amazing how many jobs were created by extending the massive tax break to the wealthiest!?! What a f’ing greedy moron!!

Our history has proven that jobs are created by TAXING THE WEALTHIEST! There is nothing with trickle down economics outside of the wealthy looking down their noses at the poor to blame them for everything!!!

Trickle down economics is fools gold and the wealthy convincing most everyone that it is real gold!! People need to open their eyes to factual reality!!!

Gut says Putin ordered Danila to "kill as many of your countrymen (... Americans ...) as you can, however you can, before they ... you know ... take you out. And destroy your ridiculous democracy while you're at it." 😉

And this morning we read about Trump moving nuclear warhead-armed submarines closer to Russia “just in case.” Just in case you don’t mind dying.

Notice also that the planet is finite. Public policy has yet to accept that endless growth is a fairy tale that's killing the planet and its ability to sustain life. But we may not have to wait too long just in case.

I mean, just in case.

Once again, Dirtbag Donnie, the biggest baby on earth, fucks up. His asinine tariffs are screwing up the economy and his anti people with brown skin purges are hurting industries that are labor intensive like agriculture, construction and hospitality. He is screwing up and blaming other people and none of the gutless republican cowards in congress say or do anything to stop him.

Your only hope of climbing out of the quicksand of the Republican Trumpist SWAMP is the total meltdown of Wall Street. Ironically, without another Great Depression, the Democracy is lost.

Predictable. The man cheats at every hole he plays of golf and then lies about his scores because he can’t bear the thought of “losing”. Only a two year old thinks they’ve won after cheating non stop. We know this man’s character yet Rethugs (& the media) continue to gaslight us and present him as normal - presidential even. Our founding fathers tried to limit the vote to “informed & concerned” voters. I do believe in universal voting but we’ve got to find a way to force feed these people real information. (Start by banning FOX et al.) We also need some hard core qualifications for politicians - at least character references. And we have to get rid of politicians’ need to beg for money.
