I prefer the story of Sybil Luddington, who actually completed a

40 mile ride as a teenager during the Revolutionary War to warn neighbors that the British were marching, and rally the militia.

But the message. Do you get the message? This is a great post and message - Don't revere fault finders who want to distract us or tell us some other story! Be a Paul Revere!

These guys have real passion and this is a great substack. Proud I subscribed to it.

This is not the time to quibble about the details. Revere is the name most people know and respect. Use it! - or get out of the road!!

I wasn’t “quibbling”. I was reminding everyone that women also played a role in the Revolutionary war, and our contributions in history are so often overlooked. I was bringing it forward to remind everyone that we are all in this together, and that everyone can and should play their part. As a woman myself, it means something to me to uplift the contributions of my sisters, who are so often ignored when history books are written.

Calm down. Both are relevant and you're quibbling? 😆😅

It's great too. Preference over substance? Both are substantial!!!

This is not the time to water down the message. Revere is the name most people know and respect. Use it! - or get out of the road!!

And while we’re at it, let’s mention Sybil Ludington, a 16 year old girl, who also rode to warn people about a British attack on a nearby town. We never hear about the brave women who were in the same struggle but went unrecognized. Herstory.

They are hearing us now! 👏💪

Excellent, especially the part where Revere started the narrative. Thanks Harvard, Booker, Bernie, AOC, Van Hollen, Maddox, Wallace.

That was a great write up.

“Be revere or get out of the goddamn way.”

Informative, directional, inspirational. Motivational…it’s time to ride.

But wait - Revere rode to warn those who had arms; who had discussed how to rebel; and those who knew what to do when a line gets crossed.

Even though the Republicans have been building for this for decades, there is no leadership or plan … everyone is still stunned.

Time to get into crisis management mode!!!!

Chemo the cancer guy, America! Show us what the home of the brave and the land of the free looks like. Hit those high notes like Whitney. Be the America that once inspired the world! We don't need another hero, we just need to know the way home.

But way back then, your 'peanut gallery' was not sopped in material possessions, not completely brain- rotted by self-serving Christianity,

or wearing red MAGA dunces caps...though the Red coats WERE coming.

Prove to us in the other world beyond Republican propaganda that it is not too late.

RIDE INTO IT!

Perfect ! We ride ! To show that We the People will not tolerate Fascist, Oligarchy and anyone else who wish to discecrat the Constitution of America and all the freedoms we have.

I offer a small correction from Ireland. Copper plating on the USS Constitution was not armour. It was applied to the underwater part of a ship's hull to discourage the growth of barnacles and seaweed and prevent the vessel from being slowed down.
