@Dolores, I hear you, and you have good reason to be scared but I hope you can find a supportive circle who will support you. The fight ( peaceful) for control of the USA is only just beginning. Take courage from all the protests. And just by being here on Substack you are already part of the Resistance. Buena suerte!

I'm not sure what to say yet. I'll have to come back when I've digested it better. I honestly thought Japan would be a part of this too.

Amazing access. Deeply troubling but already reflected in Murica and elsewhere.

Maybe a nuclear exchange in the Mid East will rivet attention and reboot priorities!

I’ve dipped into this story/interview a couple of times, and remain mystified. How can Mussayev be speaking to a Westerner (and the Western press) so openly? How can he show his face? As I read his remarks and CTTE’s observations, I find it all believable…but how can it be? Putin et al aren’t exactly cool with knowledgeable people blabbing to the West!

Like everyone here (I think), I relish any mention by anyone even barely credible of “kompromat” on Trump, and given the time he’s spent there, and when it happened, am comfortable with the thought that something exists. But would Putin be fine with all of Mussayev’s claims about “Krasnov”? I find that almost completely impossible to credit! Mussayev’s CV is pretty scary, by the way— I had a vague idea that he’d been involved in some plenty creepy Soviet-era activities, but the Wiki alone should send a chill down all our spines: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alnur_Mussayev

Should we really believe that he’s now a melancholy free agent, meeting Western freelancers over chocolate cake in a Vienna coffee house? It all feels a bit too Le Carré for my tastes.
