You have more courage than I do. My local police might very well lock me up! I could try!

As anyone in the Military will tell you: “Freedom, isn’t Free. There needs to be action! This type of civil obedience is good but takes time. ACTUALLY – I think organized "cells" of 25, at dozens (hundreds preferred) of stations across the country, simultaneously (or nearly so) would at the very minimum be a significant media op. This idea is being discussed on F&L–CttE Fb page now.

Me? I think it is a brilliant, creative, engaging, fun form of protest. So I will keep watch on the fb post, and also remember to call my friend to get her to call her lawyer friends to recommend a civil rights lawyer (correct?) in case I get locked up (a call which I have been, uh, forgetting to make for a couple of months)

Sharing this elsewhere. Thank you, @ClosertotheEdge. I love it. It's so REAL.

I live in Florida. I absolutely would get locked up. So, I guess I’d better saddle up! 😁

I'm in the blue oasis of Atlanta, in an otherwise savage and rotten red Georgia. This could work brilliantly where I am locally as we have lost of PoC wearing the shield.

I’m not being dismissive of the original idea… just find that larger more visible ideas are usually more effective and the economic pressure the strike and boycott would make are probably more effective. Just my opinion.
