I find this kind of karma quite enjoyable. I love seeing hysterical idiocy squashed like a bug.

And that coal train is facing the fate of the buggy whip. In the first six months of the year, renewables like solar and wind generated more electricity than coal for the first time ever, according to a report published Tuesday by Ember, an energy think tank. Chinese firms have committed $227bn across 461 green manufacturing projects since 2011 - with 88% of the investment occurring since 2022. This dwarfs the $200 billion Marshall Plan (in today’s dollars).

While America retreats from green energy leadership, China has built an end to end control of green supply chains: solar, batteries, EVs, wind turbines, green hydrogen. Over 75% of these projects are in Global South countries eager for this industrial capacity.

I will never understand why someone would prefer to ban a book when all they they need to do is not read it! No different than changing the radio station or TV channel when something comes on you don't like! Why is it any one person's job to monitor, limit or control what another person chooses to read, lisfen to or watch? Truly, it always boils down to Mind Your Own Damn Business!

if only this actually taught the bigots and haters a lesson...and I doubt a one of them doesn't think the failed effort was worth the cost. We will never get through to these cult members, we can only keep battling in the courts - legal and public opinion. Thank you for your deep dives into important issues and incidents.

Thank you for clearing the fog so taxpayers can truly see where their tax dollars are going. Add the 20% tariff aka tax to the dollars lost. Taxes always come first. It’s their pay or cut of the profit for silencing freedom of speech. Cost of heating coal will also increase. Dress in two layers - so you may sleep without freezing.

As a person who spent a significant amount of my childhood in Wyoming and who is horrified by the political status of the state, hearing about this truly warms my heart.

Kudos to the courage of Terri Leslie and all the folks who supported her. It is through these wins small and large that our dying democratic republic may be saved. We must and will prevail!

If only every county that caved to posturing "moral crusaders" who abhor freedom, pay a price for their bigotry and coercion. Thanks for this informative example.

Sounds like we have the same library trustees here in Kootenai County Idaho. Wish they could learn from this

Courage pays better! Amen!

Please drop these in leaflet form around this county. Email it to the feckless fundamentalists running the board. Individuals both far and wide need to know the costs both literally and figuratively of folly and foolishness.

Excellent coverage of the state of my state 🔥 I was delighted to see this librarian recieve this settlement. Wyoming may be MAGA at face value, but many of us here despise MAGA and fascism.

Disagree 100%. Please cancel. Don’t need this kind of agitation in our current political climate. Of course your circle of feedback loop followers will clap their hands and agree with whatever you say.

"Please cancel." That's something you can do yourself. If you can't figure out how, you can probably find instructions in a book. Y'know, at the library.
