Liberty Counsel should mind its own fucking business. Period. To believe this disgusting woman has standing in any case is beyond unbelievable, and if they base their case on her opinions they are picking the wrong horse.

Desperate people do even more desperate things. This is one of the most vile human beings there is, spewing hate as far as she can shout; no wonder a poster child for them. A quote I read that fits the bill "If baking a cake for a gay wedding is endorsing homosexuality, then voting for a pediphile is endorsing pedophila". The level of hate and intolerance of these people, wanting to force it's despicable values and idiots on us is breathtaking. It is a cult of people who are terrified of diversity and anyone who is not white, straight and Christian-they are so fearful and threatened by that. It is an illness that inflitrates the soul, all of those who lack humanity, compassion, and what it is to be human There is no genuine religion that endorses such a position. I say, move to your own country and live the way you want, but leave the rest of us out of it.

Hmmmm...at one point in my life I bet against these hideous individuals. We no longer live in a semi-concious society. This is the Zombie Apocalypse and the head living dead are neck deep in the court system.

Kim could be the next senator from Kentucky if this goes well for her!

Absolutely not, we have enough Slytherin here, we need to get them all out. I am thankful though that we have Andy Beshear as our governor. He remembers that he is a servant of the people. He kept us safe during COVID-19, he has brought high-paying jobs to Kentucky despite having a super Magat majority at the state level. He is in his second/last term as governor. I can't wait to see what he'll do next.

It's become popular in all circles on both sides of the political aisle to be hateful. Actually consider how hateful this written piece is, and of course "justified", because, well she's awful and so it's okay to hate on her. There is no such thing a a hateful God, only hateful, confused, and hurt people. I think we ALL can do better, including this writer.

I live in Kentucky, she is an embarrassment. She's so melodramatic. She's mad because she had to resign, (if I remember correctly), and wants to dictate her opinions on everyone else. No one else matters. She bows to Trump, she does not know what human dignity is. She is a sad human, she is just like the turd, incompetent and selfish, it's all about her. She lost her job because she had to inject her religious beliefs in a state job, she didn't do her job, plain and simple. This couple wanted a marriage license when the Supreme Court made gay marriage law of the land. (It should have been that way all along, but I digress.)

She refused to issue them a marriage license solely because they are gay. It's the dang law of the land. She, like frumpy, didn't follow the law.

On another note...Release the frumpy/epstein files.

She didn’t resign, it was settled that a few of the deputy clerks would sign their names on the marriage certificate. They changed it statewide. She lost her relection. And is barely seen around town.

LOL! A guy I know said she was with another guy behind the old Certified station and she was married to someone else. This was before anyone knew who she was. I was bitching to this guy about her being the worst person at our clerk's office. I would let other people go ahead of me so I could go to someone else's window. He told me she was a fake Christian, and he had gone to take out the trash and saw her. Now this guy does embellish things but since she was married and divorced so many times, it's easy to believe it.

These haters call themselves Christians but they do not have a Christian bone in their body and certainly nothing resembling the spirit of Christianity in their hearts. Rather, they are an abomination and will certainly be deported from the pearly gates to the circles of hell that have been anxious to receive them. May they never rest in peace.

Again, hate does not justify more hate. If you have clarity about what the "spirit of Christianity is", why not give it a try, yourself? Why not show others what it looks like in your eyes, instead of getting in the mud with those you say are insufferable?

I don't hate them. I do hate the malicious, vengeful, violent attacks Trump cultists impose on innocent people whom Donald has said are their enemy. I feel sorry for them that they have been taken in by the liar in chief. There is no mistaking that their behaviour is unchristian while cloaking themselves in righteousness and God. Mercy and forgiveness come with repentance.

So, I noticed something in this thread that I’ve seen repeated over and over again…even among people who are ostensibly on the same side of an issue an argument forms over whether a comment(s) is ‘Christian’ or not. Am I the only one who sees the same tactic of ‘divide and conquer’ at play here? Are we so siloed we don’t recognize how we are being manipulated?

To recognize that a person is a certain way, be it kind or awful or whatever, does not necessarily mean I have hate in my heart, it just means I have the ability to perceive another. Admittedly, it is possible to let my moral predisposition color my perceptions but I don’t think this is the case here. Ms. Davis and so many like her are using the shield of piety and the cudgel of virtue to force her opinions on another. I may not be qualified to speak on this as I am a non-believer but I do believe we are largely blind to the true message, live and let live
