I saw the interview and was shocked. I know he's an idiot. I know he's demented. But worse than I thought.

He also says he's going to discuss Canada as a 51st state with my prime minister in Tuesday. I have written to our Ottawa paper urging Mr Carney to cancel the meeting. No doubt Hillbilly Vance and Dopey Don will try another circus as they did with President Zelinsky. Since neither Trump nor Vance have any clue how tariffs work anyway, Carney walking into the now hideous Oval Office would be a waste of time anyway.

Get off your lazy asses Congress ... Time for the 25th Amendment!!!!

I agree with most of what you have said, but I am not at all worried that Mark Carney can not handle both Trump and JD, he will ace it. Canada and the European Union own a lot of US government savings bonds. Before Prime minister Carney was elected he already has talks with his European counterparts. Those bonds can be ancy pivotal bargaining tool. Zelinski was asking for help, Canada, China, and the rest of the world are asking for sanity and decency.

I'm less sure he's an idiot or demented after seeing the interview. He seemed to be clearly trying to claim ignorance of the law and the Constitution. Defering to his "wonderful lawyers" about any question of what's required by law. Never heard him say "I don't know" so many times. That showed me that he is even more cunning and evil than I realized. And he's very ready to throw any and all of his "wonderful Cabinet" under the bus to escape any consequences for his horrible decisions when Justice (and karma) finallly prevails for us in the USA.

Problem with the 25th is that the cabinet must take the first step. And there’s no way that clown circus would do it. No way, unfortunately. And as far as impeachment is concerned, no way the do-nothing House of Representatives would either because the Speaker would have to allow an impeachment to go ahead. First, let’s change the make-up of the House in 2026 and perhaps the Senate as well. Scare the feckless House members to death and show them that we won’t stand for all their ass-kissing and BS.

Im curious... Maybe they already ARE scared to death?

How do we find out what kind of leverage Donald has on them through Big Bad Money? + Mad machiavellian revenge guaranteed? How do we protect them well enough to do the right thing?

We might look at how the state duma was coopted in Russia. This will follow the same lines. How do we prevent it?

Hi Richard: 2026 and 2028 will be too late. Trump and his MAGA minions must be driven from power now. This is a fascist regime that is dangerous not only to people here in the U.S., but the entire planet as well. We need to do what the people of South Korea have done- drive a criminal regime from power, nonviolently.

People in this country have shaken things up in the past: 2020, the George Floyd uprising forced the system to put on trial and convict the cops who killed George Floyd. Trump went into hiding in his bunker during the protests in DC. Remember, how he was so stung by people jeering him and calling him “ bunker boy”? Refuse Fascism has put out the call, “ In the Name of Humanity, We Refuse to Accept a Fascist America”, “ Trump/ MAGA Must Go Now”!

Thanks for the comments. Few if any could find work elsewhere and are in their jobs because of a corrupt president and more corrupt Senators who allowed this to happen. It did not have to be this way but tanks to morally bankrupt, spineless to their core, we are where we are. Let’s corral our energy towards to change the Congress and Senate in 2026.
