LAWYERS WANTED: FOR TRUTH, FOR JUSTICE, FOR WHATEVER THIS IS BECOMING

We’re getting arrested this summer. Thousands of us. On purpose.

Not for shock. Not for social media. For something older. Something sacred.

Because this country has lost its moral spine, and the law—your law—has been twisted into a weapon.

We’re going to sit where we’re not supposed to. Speak where we’re told to be silent. Refuse when obedience is demanded. We are going to jam the gears of the machine, peacefully, visibly, and together.

And if we're going to do this right, we need lawyers.

WHY? BECAUSE THE LAW IS BEING USED TO KILL THE TRUTH.

Because the courts are no longer a sanctuary. Because the cops no longer protect us. Because the Constitution is now a stage prop in the hands of people who would rather ban a book than read it. Because they are prosecuting librarians. Suing teachers. Spying on journalists. And legalizing everything from censorship to cruelty, one gavel slam at a time.

We’re not here to scream in the streets. We’re here to show up with such calm, relentless clarity that the system has to expose itself to stop us.

That’s where you come in.

WE NEED LAWYERS WHO STILL BELIEVE IN SOMETHING.

You didn’t study for the bar so you could redact quarterly earnings reports and bill fifteen-minute emails.

You did it because deep down—under the debt, the burnout, the bureaucracy—you still believe that the law can be used to defend the people. Even now. Especially now.

We’re calling on public defenders, movement lawyers, rogue paralegals, sleepy law professors, bright-eyed law students, and burned-out associates looking for redemption.

You’ll be advising protestors. Watching arrests. Reviewing footage. Getting people out of jail. Calling bullshit on overcharging. Giving us a shot at something rare: justice in the courtroom after we’ve risked it on the street.

We know how to make noise. But you? You know how to make noise legally binding.
